We conduct research to enhance communication and collaboration between humans and artificial intelligence.
This includes developing communicative AI that listens, speaks, sees, and understands—across languages,
modalities, and contexts. Our work explores multisensory and multimodal interfaces, real-time speech translation,
spatially aware language AI, and interactive systems such as dialog agents for robots, avatars, telepresence,
and AR/VR environments. Leveraging cutting-edge technologies like deep learning, our aim is to achieve
seamless synergy between humans and machines, shaping a future of collaborative intelligence.
